I bought this home because it had great bones but needed a lot of work, and as a designer/remodeler, I could make it beautiful. I remodeled the kitchen with Brookhaven cabinets, a large island and porcelain countertops. I painted the island cabinets hunter green and added waterfalls on both sides . I bought white leather bar stools with gold metal so we could eat at the island if we wanted to, gold pendants and gold hardware. The hunter green cabinets match the rug in the family room and the antique pine breakfast room furniture soften the overall look
